Sophia Beckmon of Oregon City OR jumped a lifetime best 22-4 (6.80m) on her third attempt (out of three) in the girls long jump competition at the Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relays. The mark is No. 2 in high school history, trailing only Kate Hall's 22-5 from 2015, and it would have won the boys competition. Beckmon also finished second in the elite girls 100 meters in a personal best 11.30 (+3.2w).
